Workforce readiness across Europe, Asia and the US
Challenge
A global manufacturer was preparing for a major transformation across multiple sites. But engagement was low, churn was high, and operators were disconnected from management. The business was ready to spend $10m on transformation. We wanted to know whether the workforce was ‘match-fit’ to deliver it.
Process
We worked directly with operators, managers and functional teams across Europe, Asia and the US. We mapped the employee experience, measured transformation readiness and ran 46 hours of cross-functional workshops to turn insight into action. Teams identified and prioritised practical changes, including redesigning a critical production process around multidisciplinary squads.
Outcome
We made the workforce part of the transformation team, not the audience for it. This meant that 80 operators (out of 95) volunteered to take part. AI accelerated the analysis. The strongest ideas were prioritised, developed and prototyped.
What We Learned
STRATEGY - involve the people who have to deliver it / AI - accelerate the insight, not the humans out of it / BRAND - the employee experience shapes belief, retention and reputation.
